    All of Jillian’s workout videos are awesome. She keeps me motivated throughout the workout. I would buy other videos by her. Can’t wait to try Yoga Meltdown.

    Being a fan of the Biggest Loser, I thought I’d try one of Jillian’s dvd’s. This is my first experience with a Jillian workout. LOVE IT.

    I have several workout dvds from Denise Austin to Billy Blanks to the Firm. This 30 Day Shred is my new favorite. The workouts are 30 min including warm-up and cool down. The moves are simple yet challenging and highly effective. I have never seen results so quickly from any workout.

    Highly recommend adding this one to your collection. Note: You have to actually do the workouts fairly consistently to achieve any results.

    I wasn’t sure what to expect from a Jillian Michaels DVD, but on a recommendation of a friend I went with it. So far 3 days in I’m feeling the workout for sure! It’s fast paced, and only take a short time, making it easy to complete when having a family at home. I definitely recommend this!

    I have been working out for 6 months with an elliptical trainer, 45/60 minutes 5-6 days a week. I was getting really frustrated with the slow pace of my weight loss, so I decided to give Jillian a try. I’ve heard about The Shred from several different people, and now I see why! I’ve been doing The Shred for 2 weeks, and I’ve lost 6 pounds! This may not seem like a lot, but in the 6 months prior, I lost less than 10 pounds with my long and boring elliptical workouts. It feels really good to see the weight finally starting to drop. I just moved up to level 2, and it feels like the first day of working out all over again. These 20 minute workouts really make me work, and I can feel the progress the next day. Plus, they are a third of the time I was investing into my workouts before. I love the 3 circuits Jillian breaks these workouts into. She keeps up the pace and it doesn’t feel monotonous. Now all I can say is that I wish I hadn’t waited so long to give this a try.

    I have mixed feeling about the DVD… it definitely produces results, but I and several friends who have tried it have had a considerable amount of pain and soreness – mainly lower back, knees and ankles. I’m VERY careful to follow the correct form and do the modified moves where needed, but although I’ve felt an increase in strength and endurance, I can’t seem to do the workout on a regular basis without considerable aches and pains. Doing a longer warm-up on my own before starting the DVD helps (brief warm-up on the DVD is no where near enough for me – same with cool down/stretching at end). Not sure if it’s me or the routine – but I’m taking a break and trying the Yoga Meltdown instead.
