Bought this bad puppy after I sold my iPod Touch. Decided I wanted something that would store all my music and some videos. It works great.

First, the click wheel never worked correctly for me. Also, right after the warranty expired, the hard drive started clicking. I do not recommend this iPod. My 5G iPod color click wheel worked a million times better and it lasted so much longer (broke when I cracked the screen by accident). Think I’ll look into finding a 5G on ebay or something, or maybe just try to avoid Apple products all together and revert back to the compact disc. Oh, by the way, if you ever do have problems with the 7G, it’s without a doubt, the most difficult case to open w/o ruining one of the cheap components.

Just as usual, iPod is still working.

Not on time to have any kind of problems.

I am really enjoying my ipod. Took me a long time to get one. I am not going to write a long review so i will get right to it. Overall the ipod itself is great, its great to listen to in the car and working out at the gym when your doing cardio. I only have two complaints. One is ITUNES. There isnt a user manual included, its all in the software help guide. But it took me a few days to actually figure things out but by looking for help on other sites not ITUNES where other users struggled and gave good tips. It just depends how you want your music organized i guess. I personally would like it organzied so i know where things are. Also the most frustrating thing about ITUNES is the way when you copy a cd you bought from the store and lets say some songs are duets or maybe even have a guest rapper on it. ITUNES sometimes instead of putting all the songs in one folder, it will separate them as if the rapper guest songs or duets are there own cd or file and it can be almost tricky to get that file to move to correct folder until you know what your doing. Very frustrating, took me days to figure out. Even when you download music elsewhere, if its from a sharing site and that person doesnt tag something correctly it can be thrown anywhere in ITUNES. One other complaint i have but this is even for cds to. The way some music is louder than other songs. You could have a bad download or older cds where music isnt loud, however the ipod does have an option of making the songs all one volume but for some reason i feel it muffles the sound quality some. Anyway once you figure out ITUNES, the ipod is just great. I love it!

  5. Sorek says:

Any suggestions for decently-priced AV composite cables that will actually work with the 160GB iPod Classic, late 2009 model? It’s very confusing sifting through the published and often arcane gibberish–and the Apple store is next to useless online, as they don’t ‘do’ email support.
