    We purchased this in advance of our son’s first birthday, to let him “practice” and get used to having a cake. He absolutely loves it. He loves to push the buttons and play with the candles, and he now claps when they sing the birthday song. He hasn’t yet figured out how to blow out the candles (a very cool feature of this toy), but he thinks it is hysterical when we blow them out. I highly recommend this toy.

    I purchased this item as a gift for a child in my daycare . The minute I saw it I new she had to have it.

    Small children are fasinated by candles & the excitement of blowing them out & of course love to sing the birthday song.

    I wish the song wasn’t music only it would have been nice to have vocals on it to encourage singing more.

    Overall great product works well & durable :)

    Way cool. What a fun idea, “Learning in a birthday cake”. My daughter got to put in her age of 3 and sing the birthday song. When the song was over she blew and her 3 candles they went out!! She was very suprized and loved the encouraging clapping and cheers. Of course she did it again and again and again and again. The learning and counting that is in the toy is also great. I got this for her birthday with intentions of breaking it out every year but she would not let this one be put away.
